Technical Help

If you are experiencing problems with the Office of the Patient Advocate (OPA) website, check the following list before contacting the OPA Webmaster.

Compatible Browsers

  • Google Chrome
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and above
  • Microsoft Edge
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.6 and above
  • Safari (iOS/OS X) 5 and above

We recommend using one of the fully-supported browsers listed above for a better website experience. Websites like ours are built with newer browsers in mind and use their advanced-functionality to provide a rich user experience. If you use an older version or a non-recommended browser, it may cause our website to display incorrectly or limit your access to our applications’ features.

Web Traffic

The website may be experiencing a lot of traffic. Please be patient and allow pages to download completely before clicking on any of the links.

Your Internet Service Provider (ISP)

Your ISP may be experiencing a problem. Try clicking onto another website to see if you encounter the same problem. If so, contact your internet service provider.

Your Modem

Your modem may be too slow to download our web pages, causing the page to timeout before it is completely loaded. You may want to think about upgrading it, since it is also probably causing you problems accessing the web in general.

Memory

Though our web pages aren’t overly large, some do include graphical elements. It is possible your computer does not have enough memory to process the pages correctly. You may want to consider additional memory.

Cookies

If you find that pages are loading incorrectly, you may want to clear your browser’s history or cookies, refresh your browser and reload the website’s page.
